The Pragmatic Programmers, known for its line of programming titles in print and PDF form, have decided to shelve production of a planned book called iPhone SDK Development. In a news item posted to its website, the company cited the iPhone SDK's non-disclosure agreement as the reason the book could not be published and made available to the public

From the AP today: An Aspen Skiing Co. executive says he should have made sure someone applied for a U.S. Forest Service permit before a film shoot that resulted in a fatal skiing accident. David Perry, a vice president of Aspen Skiing Co., said it was his responsibility to make sure someone had applied before Denver-based Futuristic Films began shooting footage for a TV program. 0Digg me I’d think of all people to piss off when running for an election, media icons should be last on your list. I’m more of a Leno fan myself, but I used to watch Letterman when I was younger. There’s no doubt in my mind that Letterman is a cultural and media icon. Letterman has been around a long time, and has a huge following.
