John McCain Will Keep Pro-Life Republican Platform

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Aides to eventual Republican presidential nominee John McCain say his campaign will not work publicly or behind the scenes to weaken the party's pro-life platform on abortion. This is the second time McCain or his campaign has confirmed he will support the current language, which bans abortion.

The BBC, CNN, CBC Newsworld and other all-news broadcasters covered scarcely anything but the narrowly averted catastrophe throughout the day. Funny thing, but the general public wasn't buying it. The reaction was surprisingly cynical...

A meeting between NBC executives and advertisers today has given the public its first glimpse at the network's schedule for next year, and the biggest news is undoubtedly the confirmation that a long-rumored spin-off of The Office has been greenlit.

It appears that Rogers.ca has lost the war on BitTorrent / P2P, and has thrown in the towel by capping all Internet accounts. I guess this is great news for all of their customers who don't listen to streaming music, watch YouTube, or just about anything else that actually requires a reasonable amount of bandwidth.
